I’m sure she must be regretting her life decisions right now, and one of those decisions is being friends with Elaine and coming to this house. Serves her right.

Wasn’t she the one who told me to sleep with older men for money? If it was up to me right now, I’d slit her throat without a second thought.

The woman trembled violently under my grip, her body shaking so hard I could feel it through the blade. Tears poured down her face as she begged in a high, shaky voice.

“Please dear, please spare me! I have kids and a husband to take care of. If I die right now, my husband will just marry another woman tomorrow morning! Please spare me… I won’t come here again or even dare to talk bad about you. I swear on my children’s lives!”

I chuckled darkly, the sound low and bitter as my grip tightened on the knife. “Shut up, you crazy woman. You’re still worried about your husband marrying another woman when you’re at the verge of death? Pfft. Fool
