Dean’s POV
Steel Riders' lot is lit up under two floodlights when I pull in, and I see it right away — Dad's truck backed up to a loading ramp, ten bikes already partially unstrapped. It’s the whole custom collection he's spent fifteen years building piece by piece, the bikes that make Iron Wolves the club everyone else in the state actually envies.
Two guys I recognize are standing around with the specific posture of men who know they are about to get the deal of their lives.
Luke's truck is parked crooked nearby, engine still running, He’s standing off to the side looking like he doesn't know whether to intervene or not.
I'm out of my car before I've fully parked it, leaving the driver's door wide open.
