“What do you mean by difficult? Aren’t you wolves?!” I questioned the guards furiously.

They quivered before me and replied, talking about my Beta’s trail, “Alpha, we were tracing his scent from his car but… It suddenly vanished.”

Their report made no sense at all!

“Vanish as how?! Did he puff out of the face of earth or what?” I questioned, finding their story totally stupid.

But their face expression began to trouble me. Even the sorceress’s mood made me wonder if Dean had really disappeared like these guards were saying.

This can’t be possible. His scent can’t disappear like that. Dean has to be somewhere around!

“Where last did you pick his scent?” The sorceress questioned, giving all her attention to my men.

They felt more relaxed with Thelma and told her all they discovered while looking for my Beta.

“We had to sniff again and trail where he had gone, but it kept taking us to a dead end and that’s all,” they shared.
