“Wife, you’re leaving just like that?” I called her out as I grabbed her hand. When she saw my face, displease enveloped her.

She didn’t say a word but her sharp look gave her in. Clearly, she wasn’t happy to see me. She struggled her hand out of mine, but I didn’t let her go her way.

Until she spoke with an irritated tone, “Would you mind letting go of my hand?”

We had a staring contest until my secretary broke the tension between us, “Uh, Sir? W-what a s-surprise!”

“What’s your problem, Johann? Why don’t you go back to your lover?” she snarled.

“Are you jealous of her?” I blurted.
