Chapter 97. A Mother’s Love

Emma’s POV

As I relaxed in my mother’s embrace, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I had never felt so safe, so loved. The warmth of her arms was like a balm to my soul, soothing away years of hurt and longing.

For the first time in my life, I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be. I felt like I had finally found my missing piece, my sense of belonging.
