Chapter 98. Where Is My Dad?

Emma’s POV

As we sipped our tea on the balcony, I asked her,

“So, what’s your favorite color?”

Eliana thought for a moment before responding, “Ah, my favorite color is lavender. I just love the way it’s soft and soothing, yet still vibrant and full of life.”

I smiled, filing away this new piece of information. “That’s beautiful. My favorite color is actually teal. I love how it’s a mix of blue and green, like the ocean.”

Eliana’s eyes lit up. “Teal is a wonderful color, Emma! It suits you perfectly. You know, I used to have a teal scarf that I loved wearing when I was younger.”

As we chatted, I learned more about her interests and hobbies. I discovered that Eliana loved reading historical fiction novels, working on her garden, and cooking.

In turn, I shared my own passions with her, telling her about my love of photography, hiking, and playing guitar. Eliana listened attentively, asking questions and making supportive noises.
