Chapter 20. Shy

Joel then did not want to continue teasing Primrose, fearing that she would run away because of her shyness. He leisurely washed the dishes and then went up to his room, unexpectedly bumping into Primrose, who was opening the door and running out.

"I'm going to get a drink."

Primrose swallowed and said a word, suddenly feeling bitter and dry. Joel just nodded and then very politely gave way, and Primrose bowed his head to continue.

"I'm not a scoundrel, you don't need to be afraid."

Joel mutters, suddenly somewhat melancholy. Obviously, he had already scared Primrose away.

Primrose, after going down to the kitchen, took a large sip of water to calm down. The situation had become more and more unbalanced lately, and she felt more and more wary of Joel. Brought an unwelcome mood into this marriage that began, and did not intend to be serious with Joel, however, Primrose gradually lost her original steadfastness.
