Chapter 37. Absent-Minded
"Why are you in a bad mood? Did something happen?"
Joel naturally sat down next to Primrose, resting his head on the sofa and watching her eat strawberries. Realizing that Primrose's state was somewhat absent-minded, disinterested, and unhappy, Joel suddenly asked
"Nothing; I must have watched a lot of movies today, so my eyes are a bit tired, and now I'm a bit sleepy."
Primrose made up an excuse and took a bite of strawberry, not wanting to question Joel about Auntie right now. Anyway, that kind of tender message doesn't reflect anything; moreover, Primrose doesn't know how Joel will respond, so questioning or accusing Joel is somewhat unreasonable. Not to mention, considering what Primrose and Joel initially agreed on—not to interfere in each other's private lives—Primrose now has no right to mention the relationship between Joel and Auntie.
