I ignored what he said and just continued walking away from the devil that is Xavier Fajardo, but the heat I was feeling was still evident in my body.

When I finally arrived inside, I dashed to the restroom and sprayed water all over my face.

When I looked in the mirror, I could see that my entire face was still crimson from embarrassment, and when I touched my chest, I could feel the erratic beating of my heart.

"Yesha, wake up! Get a grip on yourself," I reminded myself.

I kept telling myself that nothing good would come of agreeing to what Xavier wanted, and the only ending would be misery on my part.

I had been in the bathroom for approximately ten minutes when I became aware of a rumbling in my stomach.
