Chapter 7. Mission Newspaper
Blaze looked at the caller ID once again before he picked up the call.
As soon as he picked it up, his mom spoke, “Blaze Hudson! What’s all this about? Why did you get married in a mass wedding? What is wrong with you? You could have told us, and we would have arranged your wedding if you loved the girl so much.”
“Mom, I-” he was interrupted by his mom, making him sigh.
“However, the girl is so beautiful, and I must say, she is awesome! She did great in the interview. I want to meet her! And don’t worry; I have already convinced your dad. Even he has no problem as long as business goes smoothly.”
Mrs. Tatiana Hudson, Blaze’s mother, was also like Diva – an incredibly talkative woman – mostly extroverted. No wonder Blaze didn’t want to pick up her call in the first place.
She continued after hearing no reply from her son, “How are you, honey?”
“Fine,” answered Blaze, happy that she stopped talking about Diva. “You?”
