Chapter 6. John Elliott
"I'm home."
John puts the key on the wardrobe top and changed his slippers.
From the kitchen, the door came a girl with braided hair off her shoulder. She owns a sweet little face, and her belly is emerging from behind the sunflower apron.
"Welcome home." Madeline Russel smiled tenderly.
"Are you cooking?" John noticed the soup spoon in her hand. His voice is quite loud in surprise.
"Baby is almost seven months already; my gestation has entered the safety period. If I'm still inactive, my body will be moldy." Madeline Russel smiled ingratiatingly, till now she isn't familiar with John's intimate vocative.
"Safety period? Who was so tired yesterday that couldn't carry the bowl of porridge on the floor, her feet burnt? Who was the one who had a fever all night?
