The wedding festivities continued, and the ceremonies were done on a low scale with just our families. Though I was still not allowed to meet Gauravi, with the help of Shaurya, I made it easy to meet her.

It was our Haldi function and after my Haldi, my family was supposed to go to their house to take the Haldi for her, so I took a bath and wore the same clothes as Shaurya and I went to her place instead of him. She was sitting there for the ceremony and my mom, Chachi, buaji, and sisters applied haldi to her and her family also did the same. Someone asked me to apply haldi to her thinking I was Shaurya and I gladly took the opportunity. I went to her, her face was already glowing, and her cheeks were smeared with turmeric paste.

I took some paste in my hands and applied it on her feet, knees, shoulders, and face. She smiled at me, thinking I was Shaurya. The process was to be repeated a few times.
