Chapter 59. The Only Thing to Do

Yesterday would be the day I would most like to have removed from the calendar. I had no choice except to tell Tiara everything. I didn’t want this relationship to go on like it had because I had entered it with nothing but lies. Especially as I was falling for her. I had finally come to terms with it.

Ryan and I met again today, but this time at my workplace.

“And you couldn’t tell her anything but the truth?” he questioned, clearly displeased with my choice.

“Cut it out, Ryan! You already know why I took this route. Remember when you genuinely asked me how I felt about her?”

We sat in silence for a few moments while my assistant brought us some coffee.

“Yes, I remember. But I also remember that you refused to respond to my question.”

“Okay, fine. Her having to learn the truth in such a painful way hurts because I love her. I didn’t expect to love her all the way through, but that happened. I must now take action to get her back
