Carla's POV 

I play along, responding with a nonchalant shrug.

"Any exciting projects on the horizon?" Julie's eyes gleam with curiosity. 

"There might be something in the works, but it's too early to share any details." I hesitate for a moment, carefully choosing my words.

Her gaze intensifies, and I can sense that she's trying to pry information out of me. I decided to throw her off balance, to give her a taste of her own medicine.

"You know, Julie, life can be full of surprises. You never know what might come your way," I say enigmatically, hoping to pique her curiosity.

"What do you mean, Carla? Are you trying to tell me something?" She leans in, a mixture of anticipation and confusion on her face. 

"Maybe I am. Life is too short to play it safe. Sometimes, you have to take risks to find true fulfillment." I smile, enjoying the tables turning in our conversation.
