Carter's POV

I didn't want her to get upset. 

"It's okay, dear."

"I know you don't like... I mean you're upset."

"No, not actually," her voice grew hoarse. I brought my lips closer to hers and kissed her on the lips.

"We have to live separately at this initial period, soon we will leave together. I will be sending your sister away soon, I pray everything works out perfectly."

"How would you be able to do that?" I knew she would see this as difficult but I had my own plan, now I've got Serena, there was no need keeping Carla. It would be better if she returned back and focused on other goals of hers, she was a popular singer, I sensed she had much to keep her busy. She wouldn't think much about me. 

"Don't worry, it's quite simple. If at all, I don't want to play her, I could just say the truth after all she wouldn't do anything. She would no longer live with us, so you're safe."
