Carter's POV

"Good, welcome back brother!" Matt was joyful. I was filled with gladness. I never expected this, I'm going straight to the chapel I was consecrated to offer divine gratitude.

"We would choose, based on your preference , to perform the rites to welcome you back." I couldn't contend with my joy, we continued with pleasantries towards the end of the call. Then I went downstairs, I wanted to complete my session with Venice, it was the end of everything, the first and the last time with her prior to the state of things.
