Carter's POV

Some of our stuff was still here as she would have to stay here for a while upon her return while I work on getting Carla and Venice to leave. This wouldn't be easy but I would do it, I got really determined.

We got to the state house, everywhere was busy, I took a glance directly at Serena's face, she was puzzled. "What's going on, is it because of my wedding?" I gave her a nod.

"Yes, it is," I told her proudly, I was so proud of her. This is what I prepared for her without her knowing.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked the same question I just answered in my mind.

"Because I wanted it to be a surprise, just the way it is."

"Woww," her lips curved into a smile. "That's awesome. I'm in love with this. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it." She leaned and gave me a side kiss. I chuckled.

"You don't need to thank me, I should be the one to thank you for being the wonderful one in my life."

"Awwnn!" She got elated
