Carter's POV

It dawned on me that it wouldn't affect my relationship with Serena, I was permitted to marry and have an heir. It was an exciting time in the car, this was how I wanted it to be, everything for the day should be fun.  

The court in charge of marriage registration was just fifty meters away from the state house, it didn't take long before we arrived here. We were strictly cautioned against disorderliness as we arrived here. So everything was made to be in order outside of the court, including the arrangements of the people that came with us. Those who would be representing as parents came directly behind us, this way they could bear witness and easily sign on the marriage certificate as well.
