“Keep an eye on Stacey, I don’t trust her.” Giving the order gave me a sort of peace I couldn’t explain.

“On it, sir.” Sebastian responded immediately.

I smoothed my thumb over the pendant on the necklace I had gotten Eliana.

An uneasy feeling washed over me. Something was wrong but what exactly?

“How did she take the suggestion of getting her personal body guards… Taking them to school with her?”

I already knew the answer to the question, she would not like that, at all.

“I haven’t spoken to her about it.”

At that moment, I knew exactly why I was uneasy. Eliana, was she safe?

“Sebastian, let’s talk later.”

Without waiting for his response, I quickly dialed Eliana’s number. No answer. I tried again, still, no answer.

Then I got a message, a photo and immediately, my heart stopped. Beads of perspiration formed on my forehead.

“No!” I roared in a voice with an emotion I couldn’t quite grasp.
