Chapter 33. Family Dinner

"Are you sure you want to attend the family dinner?"

Blair had just finished her final makeup, and she was about to leave the room when she heard Carlos' voice talking to Axel. The girl froze behind the slightly ajar door. She deliberately wanted to listen to the conversation between Axel and his bodyguard.

"I thought," thought Blair. "Those two men are not just bodyguards and bosses. They have a much closer relationship than just colleagues."

"They must have prepared something more than a normal family dinner," said Carlos. "I'm never wrong about things like this. You better consider one more time before deciding to attend, Axel."

"Thank you for worrying, Carlos. As you know, Celine will not stop here. The sooner it ends, the better. I'll show them who leads the game." Axel's voice was cold.
