Chapter 37. Louis and His Plan

Axel was about to run towards Blair's balcony when he heard a groan. Axel's footsteps stopped, and he immediately looked over the bed. Beneath the piled and crumpled blankets, Axel saw Blair curled up there.

Instantly relief flooded Axel's feelings.

"Does she sleep with the window open? You crazy girl!" muttered Axel while closing the window tightly again.

As Axel was about to leave Blair's room, he suddenly felt doubts. Blair didn't react at all to Axel's appearance. The man walked back to the bed to check on Blair.

"Hey, are you okay?" Axel pulled the blanket over Blair's body. "You keep moaning. Did you sleep all night with the window open? Are you crazy?"

Axel was surprised to see the girl's appearance under the covers. Blair hadn't even changed her clothes yet. She was still wearing the same ball gown.
