  "I don't want to talk about it," Liam said, lowering his head in shame.

  That moment was one I didn't want to remember at all. I was afraid, thinking I'll lose him. Thinking he won't be able to walk again if he survived. I understand if he didn't want to talk about it because I wouldn't either.

  Mrs. Juliana folded her lips, looking at him as if to sympathise with him.

  "I understand, honey," she clutched his chin gently, lifting his face to hers. "If you don't want to talk about it, no problem. I won't force you but I want to make you a promise." She shrugged lightly and looked away, a proud mischievous smile creeping into her face.

  "What is it?" He asked enthusiastically. That surely caught his attention.

  “If you tell me how your injury happened, I’ll promise to buy you whatever you want and tell you everything you need to know about me.”
