Our search for Eli is going to have to wait a bit longer since Reece and I are a bit… busy. Both Kane’s and Stephen’s warriors are closer than we’d thought, and both of our armies are requesting our advice since we’re being attacked on two fronts.

I’m not worried about Stephen’s army since most of their warriors are far from disciplined, but Kane’s army is another story. At this point, Reece and I agree that we’ll dispose of Stephen’s shifters first so we can focus on the Kane threat. Eli’s warriors are still fighting them, but they need reinforcements—as well as a strong dose of morale boost since their Alpha is currently missing in action.

Reece and I have also decided that we are the answer. We need to make a personal appearance on the ‘Stephen army’ battlefield to give Eli’s troops a confidence boost. We’ve shifted and are running at full speed toward the fray, which is a little off course from the area we want to investigate to find Eli,
