Book 5: You Have to Go

I beat the wolves carrying the Breeder over the castle wall and through the forest to Kane’s line of defense by at least twenty minutes. Considering my malnourished state, I thought it was pretty good. Granted, I could’ve run faster if I’d had some real food in the last few days, other than just the slop they brought me in the deep dungeon.

I break through Kane’s line, shouting at the fucking warriors who I am through the mind-link. One of them recognized me, even though I am in my wolf form, and I make my way to the camp, hearing the warriors howling behind me. I figure they see the Breeder being carried in. They should be celebrating our triumphant capture of the bitch and removal of her ass from the castle.

But they’d better recognize that the majority of the work was done by me, not the assholes carrying her now.
