Dusk settles over the front line of our defenses, and in the distance, we can sense the enemy standing amongst the trees in the forest. All of us are in our wolf forms now. All of us are ready to attack. We’re just waiting for the sky to transform itself fully into night so that we can operate under the cover of darkness.

Thankfully, since we are all Alphas, I can mind-link with the others in my party that I am sure are equally as worried about Rose. Having left her there in the castle with Reece, I am not quite as concerned as I would be if she were completely alone, but still, something inside of me says this won’t be good, and we are not as close to the castle as I would like to be.
