“Why didn’t you call me tonight?” He asked me suddenly. His voice sounded slightly strained, like something was bothering him.

“I wanted to give you some space.” I replied.

“So why did you wait so long?” He questioned, raising his head from my shoulder, so he could look down at me. I shrugged lightly and looked up at him with my big brown eyes.
