Chapter 83. I Never Feel This

I didn’t have to think about it for long to realize exactly what he meant. I blushed and looked down to avoid eye contact. “Um… yeah. Yeah, totally.”

His grin widened even more. “Great! Let’s go then.”

He picked up his coat and headed towards the front door. Before leaving, he gave me another quick peck on the lips and then he left. My heart began beating faster after our short kiss. It’s been so long since anyone has kissed me, and it’s not like I mind the thought of kissing Jake, but I still can’t believe that he wants to spend every single second of the next two days together with us. I don’t want to think about it, though.

I would rather not ruin the perfect moment that I have with him by ruining my brain by stressing out over it is too much. Furthermore, I hope that tonight goes well.

We arrived at Jake’s house twenty minutes later. There weren’t any cars parked outside, which made me slightly worried. Maybe we’re going to get caught. I tried to suppress
