Chapter 9. So Unbelievable!

I couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most in the world loved me back. He cares so much about me and treats me so well.

“How much longer until we have to go home?” Ethan said, looking at the watch on his wrist.

“We don’t have to leave for another hour.”

“That’s great.” He replied, smiling at me.

Just then, he grabbed my hand and started rubbing his thumb along the palm of my hand.

“You know, you can always stay with me.”

“I know, honey, but I want to give my mom time to cool down. So, when she comes back, I’ll ask her to arrange for my stuff to be shipped here.”

Okay, I understand. But you don’t have to wait for her. We’re both free, and we can live wherever we want to.”

“Yes, I know. I just don’t want to be selfish and take you away from your family. They haven’t been doing well since Dad died.

“Don’t worry, Claire, I won’t be leaving. I’ll still be staying here.” He assured me.

“That’s good. And I can’t wait to b
