Rex made Alice look into her eyes, holding her chin then kissed her forehead.
"It's okay if you're not comfortable sharing her past with me" he muttered lovingly, bringing a smile to Alice's face. The way he understood her dilemma without sharing a word, flattered her heart. It was enough for her to know how much he loved and cared for her. Most importantly he understands and respects her which is the most important thing in any relationship.
"It's not like I'm not comfortable with you, Rex. It's just that the past is not mine. It should be Aana who shares everything with you." Alice muttered and bowed her eyes down. Tears filled her eyes remembering Aana's condition when she shared her past with me.
"But I prefer not to ask her anything. Yesterday her condition was due to remembering old things. Asking for anything related to her past is like all her wounds are scraping. My soul trembled in pain when I saw her like that." Tears fell
