Chapter 100. Her Witchy Way

The attacker was the young Krall crown prince. Following his first astonishment, King Zedar ordered his military commander to head out, assume command in various spots across the palace, and deal with the dead.

"We should anticipate a response from the Khrall's government," Prince Dreksil remarked. "Although I hope not, it might be a cruel form of retaliation."

"Prince Dreksil, I see what you meant," the King retorted. "No matter how Khrall responds, whether positive or negative, we should be ready for it."

Prince Dreksil nodded in agreement. He followed the King as he silently made his way through the palace.

He passed through the passageway, which didn't look like it belonged in his favorite palace room but rather the battlefield. 

"At this point, the attack and the use of explosives had at least paused. Their main objective must have been to kidnap Izabella," he muttered sadly. "That might be one of their goals."
