Chapter 125. A Heart's Lament

King Dreksil found Marlo lying alone on the floor in the stateroom. 

He immediately attended his faithful General. "Are you okay?" He asked when he woke up. 

Marlo frowned as he stood up immediately, "I'm sorry, I feel embarrassed that I fell asleep, My king..." 

The King wanted to laugh at what he said. "It wasn't your fault. It seemed like you were under her magical ability." 

"I'm sorry, but what are you saying, My King?" Marlo was confused. 

"You didn't know that Karylla was here?" He asked. 

Marlo's eyes widened. "I'm sorry, Your Highness, but I was unaware of it. What had she done? Are you okay?" 

"Yes, for now," the King replied. "That woman is dangerous with her new power ability. I wished to capture her, but she managed to summon me, though not entirely. It was her hair moving like living vines that controlled me. I don't think she would bother us for a while from what happened tonight, but she won't stop
