Chapter 28. The Alien That Saved her
She felt dizzy when she noticed the alien's claws extending and becoming more acute. Even though she wanted to move or talk, she restrained herself as he drew a sharp nail in the center of his palm. His palm was wounded, and blue blood gushed from the incision, soaking into her wound. He knelt next to her injury, and their faces met as he did.
Izabella could not speak and was forced to look at the hollow of his neck the entire time. She made herself swallow as he backed off gradually.
When nearby animals started to growl, it stopped them both.
He said, "Wolves are coming. We have to leave immediately. Hold onto my neck, and I will raise you before the wolves eat us."
She put her hand around the alien's neck, and their eyes connected. Her weight did not affect his substantial muscular body built as he stood up and carried her. They eventually disappeared from that location. They led to the spacecraft's front, which was completely disassembled.
