I walk out of Anastasia’s room after making sure she is still breathing. I walk down the hall to Ekaterina’s room. It’s been a week since Ekaterina removed the fire from Anastasia’s body. Since that happened, I thought my mate would wake up once she had enough blood in her body, but she didn’t. The doctors don’t know why and neither does Ekaterina. I’m going to visit Ekaterina for a different reason right now.

I knock on Ekaterina’s hospital door and wait to be told to enter before entering. I’m the king and don’t need to knock, but I think it’s proper to knock before walking in. I know it’s a hospital, and the chances of them doing it are low, but the smell of arousal coming from the room makes me believe it’s possible.
