My alarm sounded, which woke me up and I rise like a combatant.

The day was bright and early so it was a new chance to live and be happy, I whined.

I was happy because my allowance was to be paid that week.

"So all of that was all a dream? The sassy conversations and tension?" i asked shaking my head like a walking dead but her mood changed when I looked at the calendar before me and realised one thing.

I was getting prepaid to take off to work and commence my day with happiness.

I got out of the house and took a cab to work.

When I got to work, I met my colleague already at her desk and she was smiling at me and I smiled back.

"Eve girl, oh how lucky you are", she cried out.

" Lucky?", I was lost because I couldn't comprehend why she said that.
