Chapter 103. Spiraling Thoughts

Since Aakifahlynn came back into their lives, Danica had tried countless times to get her brother to see reason, but to no avail. She would try once more.

Demarion was shaken out of his spiraling thoughts with all the what-ifs and possibilities for the absence of Aakifahlynn's presence.

He had thought she was locked in her room, but that was not the case, he checked. Then he thought maybe she went to the library he'd shown her, as she had promised to visit sometime. However, still, nothing.

There was not one trace of her even being there. So, at the sight of his sister completely ignoring her question, Demarion asked, as his eyes drilled into her, "Sister, tell me, have you seen her?"

"Oh, I saw her this morning when she came to me." Danica always knew who "her" was and is to Demarion. There has only been one 'her.'
