Chapter 78. Three Days Later
As soon as Aakifahlynn had snapped out of it, she warned Raven not to be lured in by his allures. 'We must refrain from falling for his false comfort, sense of security and warmth.'
She urged Raven.
"I bid you goodnight, Demarion." she scoffs and turns with a flourish while stepping into the room and closing the door behind her.
Demarion thought she was breathtaking as he watched her skittish reaction. As her door closed in his face, he smiled widely, amused, knowing she was fighting what she felt.
Aakifahlynn took her time and the help from the two maids waiting in her room. She undressed and soaked in the bath that they drew for her.
