Chapter 166. I Found Out

When the doctor left, the thought of a bullet inside of me still scared me, it was something that made me feel weird. She had told me that I could do other things but I should not do aggressive movements or very abrupt ones, especially because the bullet was not very far from where the baby was.

“Chris?” I called him out of his trance and he turned to me, flashing me a smile that looked forced. “Are you okay?” 

He nodded passionately. “Mm-hmm, I am. Why would I not be?” He chuckled nervously.
