Our food was brought and we started eating, it was really good. It was an Italian dish that I had not tried before but from how good it tasted, I was for sure going to be trying it again and again. 

I wished that Linda was here to try this with me for the first time, but I was going to make sure that she got to try it when everything got better between us. 

“How’s things between you and your wife?” Aunt Maze broke the silence. She was eating and seemed to be enjoying her food. She still had not mentioned the money that I had sent her, and honestly, I liked it that way. 

That way, it would be as if I did not do it even though we both knew that I did. 

At the mention of Linda, my heart skipped a beat. “Um…I think I messed things up even more. And I don’t know how to fix it.”
