Chapter 221. Contemplation and Forgiveness

Linda’s POV

My heart felt heavy and my emotions felt raw. I was lying in my bed, buried in my duvet as the rain assaulted the roof of the house. The windows were closed and the water from the sky splashed against it. 

It was storming outside and I could not do much, but even if it was not raining cats and dogs outside, I did not have the strength to do anything. 

Maybe it was the pregnancy, or maybe it was just the fact that I was depressed. I sniffled, wiping the tears from my face. My phone was in my hand and I was looking at photos of me and Chris, where everything was simple; when everything was beautiful.
