Chapter 227. A Surprise Meeting

In the Aston Martin, the wind blew in my hair as I drove through the beautiful streets of the city. The weather was so good today, and I think it had an effect on my mental health–I felt so much serenity and contentment. 

Maybe that was because I finally had my wife back. I did not know what I did to deserve her forgiveness or what god had touched her heart to come back to me, but I was more than grateful.

I had so many plans for us. After we were done with this war against the Kingstons, I planned to take her to somewhere different; to another country where we would start new. Of course, this country had a lot of memories for us, but raising a child, I wanted it to be a fresh start for us.
