Chapter 50. Redemption and Reconciliation

I inhale sharply at the mention of the name of the man whom my wife had an affair with. This man happened to be the same man that she had a baby for and tricked me into believing that the child was mine.

This man is the goddamn same person that started this takeover battle so he and Violet could kick me out of my own company that I worked endlessly to build.

Why the hell is he here to see me?

“Is he alone?” I ask Zara, and she studies my facial expression for a few seconds before answering slowly,” Yeah.”

“Good,” I say in a breathy way as I walk away from her desk and head toward the conference room.

I receive a few more congratulations from some of the associates that I walk by before I reach the glass door of the conference room. I push the door open, and I walk confidently into the room.
