Chapter 57. A Happy Memory
Sophia's POV
After a few minutes, Angelica calmed down enough and Hyperion then walked away, but first, he gave her a light kiss on the top of her head and handed her a white handkerchief that he had taken out of his pocket.
Angelica then looked at me, turning red, probably ashamed of what had happened, but once again I smiled at her, to reassure her that I didn't judge her any less for expressing herself, but I'm glad I was able to get it off my chest.
I hear a knock on the door and soon Hyperion opens it and the smell of meat spreads. I feel my mouth fill with water, Hyperion quickly serves me a plate and I start to eat, forgetting anything else around me.
It's just perfect, with every piece of meat I feel stronger and the smell of things becomes more intense, as does the sound of their breathing.
I think Hyperion said something to Angelica because I feel her presence disappearing from the meeting room, but I don't raise my head to ma
