Gabriel Wallace had everyone change into sterile gear before heading straight into the emergency room.

The second Lilah Hart saw Lance Owen, her face went pale—like all the blood had drained out.

Gabriel quickly briefed the doctors inside, and one of them turned to Lilah. “We already removed the bullets from his body, but there’s still one lodged in his head. It’s in a really dangerous spot—we didn’t dare touch it.”

“I’ll do it,” came a calm voice.

It was Dorian Cole.

She’d done countless craniotomies before, and some of them had made headlines around the world.

If anyone was qualified for this, it was her.

“And you are...?” The masked surgeon eyed her curiously.

“Dorian Cole,” she answered flatly.

Recognition lit up the doctor’s gaze as his eyes widened. “Wait—you’re that Professor Cole?”

Dorian didn’t respond, but just her name had the doctor glancing at Gabriel in awe.
