Chapter 214
“Dylan!” Aurora Wallace shouted as she saw her daughter crash into the cake, voice sharp and panicked.
Then came Dylan’s loud, piercing cry that filled the whole banquet hall.
Sandra Wallace frowned. “Gabriel, you’re really going to hold a grudge against a kid?”
“It’s not about holding a grudge,” Lilah Hart fired back before Gabriel Wallace could respond. “Dylan clearly pushed Aiden on purpose. That cake took the pastry chef ages to perfect. She ruined Aiden’s birthday and trashed someone else’s hard work. Don’t tell me that doesn’t deserve a lesson.”
“Lilah, Gabriel, maybe you guys should go change first,” Lisa Wallace stepped in, trying to defuse the situation. “There are still guests around. Let’s not let this ruin Aiden’s birthday.”
Lilah glanced at Aiden, covered in cake from head to toe, then turned to Gabriel.
“This won’t be the end of it,” Gabriel said coldly, throwing a final glare at Aurora before picking Aiden up and walking away.
