“Gabriel, are the in-laws here yet?” Mr. Hart asked casually.

“They’re all here, in the living room,” Gabriel Wallace responded politely.

“Great, let’s head in then.”

Mr. and Mrs. Hart gathered the relatives into the house. Damien Hart followed them inside too.

Gabriel Wallace and Lilah Hart stayed at the door to welcome other guests. Gabriel glanced at the box in Lilah’s hands and asked directly, “What’s that?”

“No idea. My brother gave it to me. I haven’t had a chance to check,” Lilah replied, tucking the box under her arm.

Gabriel didn’t say anything more, but there was a shift in his expression.

Lilah looked up with a smile as Clara Dawson arrived with Ethan Blackwell. Clara wore a simple white dress today, and Ethan was in a light-colored suit.
