Dorian Cole waved him off, and the man quickly left.

Dorian found a random spot in the hallway and sat down. His eyes never left Lilah Hart’s hospital room, still rattled from what had happened.

He pressed a hand to his chest, shutting his eyes, repeating silently in his head: Calm down. Get it together.
