"WTH! In the world is this?"Christine gasped repeatedly when she peered at the broken and devastated surrounding of the place.

Her eyes wandered from left to right as she took in the scene.

Abandoned buildings and streets filled with garbage and human waste, surrounded the road they traveled along. The smell of death permeated around them, and the air itself was toxic, making it hard for her to breathe.

She felt like vomiting every time she inhaled through her nose but had no choice other than doing so because if she didn't, there would be a possibility that someone could catch their breath at the wrong moment. She held up her hand and covered her mouth before taking another deep inhalation.

The stench made Christine's skin crawl. Her stomach turned violently while nausea threatened to make its presence known again.
