Chapter 42
Tigreal found himself tightly bound with ropes and chains, surrounded by angry wolves standing tall with their ears pointed forward and paws ready. He was bewildered and disturbed, trying to make sense of what had just happened to him. All he could remember was a sudden burst of smoke and a rough hand tapping his shoulder before he lost consciousness.
Confused and filled with rage, Tigreal struggled fiercely to break free from the chains that held him. "Where am I? What have you done to Freya?" he shouted, his voice filled with violence. He desperately sought something or someone to direct his anger towards, even though he knew these wolves had no quarrel with him.
A familiar voice came from behind him, stating, "I've told you before. True warriors are not defined by their strength alone, but by their skill in engaging and withdrawing on the battlefield."
