Chapter 57
Tigreal's heart pounded with a mix of fury and sorrow as he faced Balmond, the one responsible for the death of his beloved mother. Hatred burned within him, consuming any shred of the respect he once held for Balmond.
"You took everything from me!" Tigreal snarled, his voice thick with enmity. "My mother didn't do anything to deserve death, and you killed her without mercy. She does everything in her power for the progress of the White moons pack. I will make you pay for your treachery!"
Balmond's massive form quivered with a surge of fury, his eyes narrowed into slits of disdain. "Your mother was weak, Tigreal. She stood in the way of progress and had to be eliminated. I did what was necessary for the survival of our pack."
