Chapter 26. Strange Scent

Xerina’s POV

I was always considered weak since I never got to meet my wolf. There were several rumors and words surrounding how the Alpha of Alphas did not deserve a weak female like myself. The pain and truth of their words were agonizing to the point I remembered crying myself to sleep.

Though my family was different, they never saw me as a frail girl, but they always encouraged me. I remembered training with Papa and Luca. Papa mentioned how he was proud of my combat skills.

Though those combat skills would help as hay in waters, I couldn’t fight the wolves.

Rasmus, however, was different. I never saw him training with us. Papa would always train him at night under the stars.
